Situation:
A major Healthcare Provider's employees
used traditional intranet content and
document management tools, but lacked
an integrated, user friendly solution

The Information services department
approached EZS for an intranet solution.
EZ Solutions did requirements gathering
and development a comprehensive list
of criteria for the solution, including
better communication for employees that
work in multiple locations over a wide
geographical area. Several solutions
were evaluated and the decision was
made to implement the Microsoft SharePoint
Portal Server. The existing IT infrastructure
with Windows server 2003 and Office
applications supported the decision.
